OTC SPORTS EVENT INFORMATION

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING OFF THE CROSS SPORTS!

ANONE CAUGHT WITH SEEDS OR PEANUTS INSIDE ANY TURFED VENUE WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE EVENT BY THE POLICE DETAIL. NOT ALLOWED EVER. 

PLEASE CHECK YOUR ONLINE ROSTER, ANY PLAYERS SHOWING "PENDING" NEED TO SIGN THEIR WAIVERS SO THEY ARE APPROVED TO PLAY.

NO SPIKES ARE ALLOWED ON ANY TURF FIELDS OR ON ANY PORTABLE MOUNDS.

NO COIN FLIPS. THE TEAM LISTED ON THE RIGHT/BOTTOM IS THE HOME TEAM IN POOL PLAY. 

All event brackets are now published online.

All game time request were granted 1st come 1st serve. 

When game time request are granted all matchups are void and you must play VS the other teams with the same request. 

I cannot stress enough how strict we are on parent and coaches behavior. Please click this link to view our SUSPENSIONS page. Gone are the days of acting out at kids baseball games here. If you have an issue follow the proper protocol listed on the suspensions page and let's resolve it like adults. There will be no yelling at or disrespecting any OTC Sports official or staff member. Again there is a ZERO tolerance policy here. Any violators will be escorted from the venue by police detail and added to the Suspensions page. 

If as a coach you have a ruling issue ask the umpires to stop the game and have the Umpire In Charge report to the field. DO NOT GET INTO A VERBAL ALTERCATION WITH AN UMPIRE IT DOES 0 GOOD. Coaches may only request the UIC on an umpires ruling NOT any judgment calls. We are structured to never get rulings wrong.

Game Format:

Minimum of 3 games. 2 pool games on Saturday leading into single elimination on Sunday.

Venue Rules:

NO pets past the gate entrance.

NO boom boxes or loud music allowed.

NO outside food or drink past any gate entry. It will be turned away by the concessions person. 

NO alcohol or smoking beyond the gate entrance.

NO seeds, peanuts, dip, or gum in any turfed venue.

Each team may bring in 1 round cooler with a spicket.

OTC Sports makes $0 off of concession sales. The park makes their money off of concession sales so we must abide by their policies while renting their facility. 

Every team is responsible for providing 2 baseballs per game due to ball preference.

Award Distribution:

Awards will be given to coaches at the end of the Championship Game. Coaches can then present them to the players, making it more memorable. To view our awards packages click Awards Package in the event menu. 

Tournament Fees :

Kid Pitch PAP: $60.00 per team per game

Coach Pitch PAP: $40.00 per team per game

Gate Fee: $10/person/day (children under 10 enter free).

PLEASE DO NOT ASK KIDS TO LIE ON THEIR AGE THAT BRINGS BAD KARMA. 

Game Duration:

Coach Pitch plays 1 hour no drop dead time. 

9U-12U play 1:30 or 6 innings no drop dead time.

13U-14U play 1:30 or 7 innings no drop dead time. 

Run rules: 12 runs after 3 innings, 10 after 4 innings, and 8 after 5 innings.

Pitching Limits:

9U-12U get 8 innings total on the weekend. 

13U-15U get 10 innings total on the weekend. 

Innings are not limited daily you may use the innings as you please. Parents place their players well being under the coaches supervision and coaches are responsible for kids arms not OTC Sports.  

Note to 13U-14U:

No steel spikes allowed on portable mounds.
